Thank you all for your support and advice. I think my fear of placing
the cat in another home comes from my experience with her. I have
always loved cats, and this is not a likeable cat. She pulls away
whenever I try to pet her, and I found her as a stray seven years ago!
Ingrate!
Anyway, I will think about this some more and try to do the right thing
for all of us.
