4437.0. "vet recom. in Gardner/Fitchburg/Leominster..." by PANDA::BREEN (Lisa Breen) Fri Mar 08 1991 10:51

	We just adopted a cat last night, so now we are looking for a good
 	vet in our area. We live in Templeton (MA), and we are looking for
        a vet in the Templeton/Gardner/Fitchburg/Leominster area. I'd like
        the name of a specific vet, if the office is staffed by multiple
        vets. I don't want to just get whoever is available that day, to take
        care of my kitty. Thanks.

        Lisa

4437.1here's one....HYEND::KTRAINQUEFri Mar 08 1991 11:515
    Dr. Mulcahy with the Central Leominster Hospital in Leominster. There
    are only two vets there. They both really love their animals.

4437.2I 2nd the vote for Dr. Mulcahy!ISLNDS::BARR_LIs it Friday yet?Fri Mar 08 1991 12:0510
    I agree with Kim. I have only had Snowball for three weeks now
    (God, I can't believe it's been that long!) and I've had her there
    twice and I really like the care that Dr. Mulcahy has given her.
    She's got a great personality and really cares for the animals she
    deals with. They are located on Rt. 12 in Leominster (going towards
    Sterling). There phone # is 537-0239.

    Good luck with your new furface!

4437.3There's a vet in LunenburgLEZAH::KARENKFri Mar 08 1991 12:1814
    You might want to try Dr. Flinkstrom in Lunenburg. We started going to
    him when he was working out of his garage. He now has a brand new
    hospital with all the latest technology. He also takes in injured wild
    animals.

    He's located at 109 Massachusetts Ave and his number is (508)345-2623.
    My two cats have received the best care ever from this vet.

    He even makes house-calls. Plus (a big point) his prices are very
    reasonable.

4437.4Another vote!!ASDG::GALLAGHERFri Mar 08 1991 12:426

    Another vote for Dr. Mulcahey. I have been taking my 3 cats to her
    for the last year. She's very kind and will take the time to
    answer your questions.

    I vote for Dr. Mulcahy also. I've been going there for 3 years and
    have had a few problems with both my Persians. Both she and Dr. Moss
    have been great. Whenever either cat has had to say there to be
    treated, I've always received a follow-up call after the cat is back
    home. Everyone who works there is very caring and obviously loves
    animals.

4437.6Maybe Dr. Mulcahy and Bashful have already met?BOOKIE::FISCHERFri Mar 08 1991 13:255
   And it just could be that Dr. Mulcahy has seen Bashful! I believe she
   has attended to several of Pat's cats. Why not ask Priscilla? Maybe
   Dr. Mulcahy already has a file on her.

4437.7Dr. Mulcahy it will be!PANDA::BREENLisa BreenFri Mar 08 1991 13:338
	Thanks for all your replies...I'm going to use Dr. Mulcahy. I just
        talked to Priscilla, and Dr. Mulcahy has treated Bashful, and has
        a file on her! What a great coincidence this is!

4437.8Dr. Mulcahy is the BEST!CSSE::MANDERSONMon Mar 11 1991 11:1611
    Lisa:

    You couldn't have chosen a more professional individual whose compassion,
    integrity and honesty is without question. She is gentle, loving and
    giving to her 'animals' and I am thankful the career she chose was as a
    veterarian. And, how lucky for me that she chose to be a vet in MY town.

    For an example - read note #4443.0!
