Please check your local shelter or humane society. They've
always got kitties there (everytime I've been there, there
have been some) that desparately need homes. I'm not sure
we're your friend is located but I believe there is a place
call Kitty Angels in Tyngsboro, Mass. that has a lot of kitties.
Nashua Humane society is another place to try too.

| | If you don't mind a little advice. Your friend would be better off
paying a shelter fee of $30 or so and getting a kitten that has
already been tested for Feline Leukemia and who has already received
its shots. You could end up paying out a lot more to a vet if you
take a free cat and then find out its sick. And the payment may
be in more than just money.

| | True....This is why I didn't take one of the worcester kitties. I just
HAD to ask what would become of them tho, (if they were going to be
destroyed, I'd have taken one) but they said, "Oh, don't worry, they'll
go." So I continued my search for a kitty like Nancy just described.
