Anyone missing (or know of a neighbor who's missing) a long-haired black cat, probably male (so much hair it's hard to tell:-), white feet and chest, in the Cross Street neighborhood of Pepperell? We think it was locked in our garage for a few days - when we let it out it didn't seem much interested in going home, so we let it in and fed it. I would like to suggest that you put an "Found Ad" in your local
paper with a little description of the cat and where you found it.
It will cost a bit...about $12-14 in my paper.
I have found three cats in my neighborhood in the last year and
by putting an ad in the paper I found the original owner for two
of them. Most of the time the lost cats are Males who are not
fixed...out looking for you know what and stroll too far away.

actually, a lot of the "local" news papers will let you place found ads
for free.

Yep, we plan on putting in an ad in the next issue if we don't find the owner by the ad deadline (whenever that is...). We also put a note up in the neighborhood store, called the police station to see if anyone reported their cat missing, called some neighbors to see if they might know whose it was,... Mike | |||||
