| We're very sorry about your loss.
Cats for adoption are listed in note 415 and its replies; I'm sure
also that someone local to NH will be in the file soon and
have information about shelters that might have cats available.

| Contact Joan Fuller in Norwell, MA. (610)659-4022.
She breeds orientals and has two patterend orientals and one chocolate
point for sale. They are all kittens, but not babies. The chocolate
point, if he is still there, is around 3-4 months.
The price for these guys is in your range and you could also probably
negotiate.
She also has a year-old female blue oriental for adoption - she just
wants a $35 donation to the Tufts School of Vet Research.
I got my Mish-Mish from Joan four weeks ago and he is a sweetheart. It
would have been better if I could have taken two, because he really
wants a buddy and has become extremely dependent on me.
Don't be put off by the distance - it isn't that far to go down there
and I felt it was definitely worth the trip!
Tuesday is Joan's day off, otherwise you should call at night. Also she
will be showing and probably have the cats for sale at the cat show
this weekend.
Good luck.

I stopped in at the Buddy Dog Humane Society (on Route 20 in
Wayland) yesterday to love the kitties and give the dogs love
and treats. They had a beautiful female Siamese that just came
in the day before (Saturday). They named her Polly and she was a
gem! She was petrified at first which is understandable with all
of the dogs barking and other cats around - but she warmed right
up to me after a few minutes and was VERY affectionate and even
let me hold her. She didn't want to go back into the cage.
And she talked up a storm - really acted like she had a story
to tell.
I don't remember how old she was. She certainly wasn't a kitten.
But the price would be right.
If I didn't already have my two knuckleheads...
Good Luck!
Cynthia
