A few notes back the food "Old Mother Hubbard" was mentioned. I live near Lowell and would like to check out their factory outlet store. Can anyone give directions? I live in Chelmsford. Anothe thing, how about the quality and nutritional levels of the food? I do know that when I offered Triumph and Mother Hubbard the cats seemed to prefer the MH. The supply store I go to used to carry it but stopped due to a lessened demand and now only has Triumph. Are the prices any better there also? I picked up two cases of Fancy Feast for 3.99 a case this past weekend. It was unlabelled so I took a chance. It turned out to be what I think is a beef/chicken/liver type food (good, no fish!). It was at the Ocean State Job Lot in South Yarmouth. Now they will really be spoiled! Karen, Ruby, Stinky, Wing

Karen, both OMH and Triumph are excellent canned foods. I think they are about equal in both quality and nutrients. My cats love both brands. Whiskas has come out with a new canned food brand called "chunks & gravy." The cats love them!! I have been buying mostly Whiskas and Friskies Buffet recently, since the OMH and Triumph are expensive and they already eat premium dry food. | |||||

Re: -2 Karen, I don't know any of the street names, so these directions won't be as helpful as they could be: 1. Take Route 495 North to the Route 38 exit. 2. Go right at the end of the ramp. You will pass the former Hallissy dealership on your left, Capitol's on your right, and a large park on your left after an intersection with a traffic light. 3. Bear left at the blinking light. (If you went straight/right, you would go past St. John's Hospital soon thereafter.) 4. The OMH factory is on a street to the right (Rogers St?), past the YWCA, either the second or third right after the blinking light. Watch for the OMH sign. I buy the food by the case, mixing various flavors. I haven't compared the factory prices with those of a pet supply store of late, but when I did, the price at the factory was definitely better. --Cindy |
