Fluffy, grey, affectionate kitty in Maynard in the
                       vicinity of Walnut Street.

We call him Leon. He's a super guy. I'd guess he's about 1 year
old. He appears full grown, yet loves kitty toys. He appears in
good health (a little skinny). I combed him for fleas and found
    none.

He's been around for almost two weeks now. He thinks he belongs
to me - but he really doesn't! On Monday I put a flea collar on
him with a message in masking tape on the collar reading,
"If you own me, call xxx-xxxx." No one has claimed him. And I've
looked for signs and checked the papers.

I was REALLY hoping someone would call...I was sure someone must
be missing this love bug. I've been feeding him (he eats like
he hasn't eaten for weeks) and put a box filled with blankets on
our porch for him to stay warm and dry in. But we are leaving
Friday morning for 10 days and I don't want him to have to hang
around outside if it gets really cold.

I just can't keep him. We have two indoor guys (one recently
adopted from this file) and my landlord said NO! to three. He's
not even happy with the fact that we have two. I just called Buddy
Dog and they are filled to the limit.

He really is a wonderful cat. As soon as you sit down, he will
jump into your lap. He talks a good bit too. Won't you adopt
    Leon?

There is a Santa Claus! It appears that Leon has found a wonderful,
loving home. I already miss the guy and he's not even gone yet. He
    is getting picked up tonight.

If for some odd reason, his new arrangements don't work out, I will
let those of you who also responded know.

    Thanks and Merrrrrryyyyyy Christmas!
