4239.0. "I need a lo cal food!" by FRAGLE::PELUSO (PAINTS; color your corral) Mon Dec 10 1990 14:28

    Purrppp! Fellow felines:

My mom and the vet have this conspiracy going on now about my weight.
Now I don't have any complaints about my weight.... I need a few extra
    ounces for that winter insulation.

so fellow felines, they have been trying to make me eat his diet
stuff that tastes icky. I had a lengthy discussion w/ mom and told
her I wouldn't eat another bite of it. Supposing they are right,
do any of you fanciful felines have any suggestions for a lo-cal
    crunchie....that tastes good....

    I hates Iams lite!!!!!

    purrpp.....Nippa

	p.s.

anyone interested in a tree re-arranging party.....heh, heh, heh!

    Yo Nippa!

T.K. Kagno here. My mom just had the vet over to the house last week,
and she gave mom a big lecture on how fat I am. I was so insulted!!
She actually had the nerve to call me a pig to my face! Then they
began talking about low-cal foods like Iams and Science Diet Light.
Yucko!! I almost decked her one, but she trimmed my claws first so it
    wouldn't have done any good.

I refuse to eat such horrid feed, and will go on a hunger strike before
resorting to such nonsense. How 'bout you and I sneak out one night
and have dinner together? We can sweet talk a sappy person to invite
us in for lots of rich, fattening goodies! With your flashy markings
and my sweet disposition, we can really do a number on someone!

    Fat Cats Forever!!

    T.K.

    Hey Nippa and T.K.,

Come to my house....I live with the sappy person your looking
for. The only thing is.. that if you do come over...you will have
to put up with my 5 step sisters and brothers. Oh what a da** joy
they are. Also we have this big chunky cat named Barkley who has
the nerve to try and steal your food. Can you just imagine
what I have to put up with....

Just remember...bat your eyes and look pretty and you'll have
my Mom rapped right where you want her.

4239.3Do they have "cat-robics"?...BOOVX2::MANDILETue Dec 11 1990 09:0414
    Hi co-chubbies!

Come on over to my house!.....My mommy gave up with trying
to put me on a diet....Instead, she plays with me to make
me exercise. I've lost quite a bit of weight, and I get
all this attention, too! Only problem is, that she has
to share this "quality time" with the other three. But,
I'm her favorite, so I get a little extra attention. And,
that dittzy, hyper cat, Pepper, gets me racing around the
house, like I was a kitten, for petes sake! No wonder I
    lost some weight!

    Greowtings!

We always wondered why Mum adopted Rici. He's such a meany! Chases us
all over the place...But since his arrival we've lost about 1/5 of our
body weights and we're in tip-top cardiovascular shape!

It's funny though. When Rici stays inside for an extended amount
of time, we lose weight and he gains it.

We too dislike the food for less active kitties...

puuurrppp, T.K.......you like my markings? (blush) I think your
    pretty handsome too...

I think the hunger strike is the way to go.....unless I get my Iams,
    of course.

I know she's planning on returning the unused Iams lite for another
try....hmhph......won't she ever learn. Her dad has been feeding me
chicken and turkey everynite....I have such a cute *please feed me,
mom's trying to starve me* face. If you want, we can meet up and I'll
show it to you....maybe it'll work on Dana?

So T.K....puurrp, umm, wanna umm, come over for some, umm, chicken?

Hi there... Barney and Gonezo here. Mom and the vet think we're kind
of on the chubby side also but she fixed us! She got pregnant and had
a baby six months ago and boy, have we started to lose weight. Our new
little "sister" (ha! if you can call her that) is starting to crawl and
wants to pull our tails and ears, and boy, can she grab our
love-handles pretty tight. Well, because we're running away from her
so much now, we've started to lose some weight. I just hope you're
mom's don't have to go to such drastic measures!

4239.7Nutero Max Lite is a winnerFRAGLE::PELUSOPAINTS; color your corralThu Dec 20 1990 12:4215
    Yo fellow chubbo's...

Mom and I `discussed' the food thing and she agreed to see it *my*
way (of course). She got me a lo cal food that actually tastes
good. It is nutero max lite.

    Happy eating.....puurp!

    Nippa

    p.s.

The Pet supply shop owner told me he gets more returns on Iams and SD
lite than the Nutero Max lite. He has samples of the new Pro
Plan lite, which came second to the NM.
4239.8NO HUNGER STRIKE...DON'T FALL FOR THAT!RHODES::GREENECatmax = Catmax + 1Wed Feb 06 1991 12:0522
Watch out! I found out the hard, lean way [pun intended] that
a hunger strike against the diet food made my Momperson HAPPY.

She gleefully pointed out that the diet was working even better
than she had planned, and stuffed vitamins and other nasty
supplements down my throat. She's got this way of holding me,
you see, so that I just can't quite get my claws into her when
    she does that.

Actually, after not eating for a few days, well, the diet stuff
didn't taste quite so bad after all. And I can eat all I want
and stuff my belly full. (She calls in "sawdust", but I'm not
    insulted.) Crunch, crunch, semi-yum.

And besides, you should see my slim trim figure now. I can also
run faster and get away from her when she wants to catch me.
    Heh heh.

'Course, every now and then I get into the kittens' hi-cal growth
food, and I eat it ALL. They'll live if they miss a meal, I figure.

    HopeyCat
