| You have my best wishes trying to find kitty's people.
Half of my strays came from Maynard.
History:
Across from St Bridget's church there is now a parking lot--about 10
years ago an old woman lived there with over a hundred cats. She died
and the house was demolished--the cats scattered. Some of the
decendents live in the barn behind the rectory, not that they admit to
it though. Your stray may have come from there.
Also, there are many apartments in the MLO/Thompson St parking area and
people come and go, some not taking their cats with them and some
losing their cats when they move in. It has also been known that
people dump their cats in the DEC/MLO area as we are, on the whole, suckers
for furry faces. Many cats have found homes that way, hope your cats
is as lucky.

there is a kitten about 2 months old, tiger like, looks like a morris
that is wandering about the walnut street parking lot of the
maynard mill. he looks cold, and hungry. does anyone know if this cat
has a home nearby? it is breaking my heart to think that he might not.
just thought someone might want him, or know where he lives.
I saw this cat/kitten last Monday. He was cold and hungry and screaming
his head off. I took him home for the night. Fed him twice and gave
him a warm place to sleep. But since I wasn't sure that he didn't have
a home, I took him back and let him go in the Walnut Street parking lot
where I found him.
I sure hope he's OK...
