    Way to go Lil!!!  Glad to hear the good news!  Put in lots of
    stories 'cause my babies are almost all grown up and no one seems
    interested in going into heat ;-)

    
    just a thought -
    a friend of mine had a cam corder and took pictures of her
    kittens every few days after their birth  (and did a little
    nova type documentary as she filmed, perfect for kids to learn
    from)   she then gave me a copy of the tape along with my 2
    kittens,  so even though i didnt see them until they were almost
    a month old, i got to see what they looked like at birth

    I can relate to that!  Lil does things in her own time - anyone knowing
    Lil can vouch for that!  Well, Monday I thought I would need hedge
    trimmers, last night I"m not so sure - lordy, I'm just gonna wait
    until they are 8 weeks old, maybe by then I'll know.
    
    BUT, she did have baby GIRLS!@   I was pretty pleased about that -
    VERY NICE ones at that.  She threw herself, and one better!  Not
    bad for a start!

    Thanks Nancy.  I'm getting ready to let them walk in and out
    of their crib - maybe Sunday - have to reset up their area
    to make a toddler room out of it - food, a tiny litter box,
    etc.  Block of areas that I don't want them in just yet.
    
    They are so cute when they roll over on their backs and play
    with my fingers and bite my fingers!  They groom each other,
    and tumble around!  Sweet beanie weanies!  If I spend too
    much time playing with the smaller one, the bigger one gives
    me a look that would freeze hell over!  She's a real piece
    of work - I think she's spoiled rotten already!  She looks
    up with saucer eyes - make your heart melt!  Then the smaller
    one goes over and bats her one in the head!  Kittens are sooo cute!
    
    My Mardi Gras is bred, so I will have another litter due around the
    first of the year.  Mardi Gras gave me 5 Shorthairs, (3 Shorthaired
    BABY GIRLS) in her last litter bred to a longhaired boy.  This litter
    she is bred to a shorthaired boy - wonder what I will get this time !!!
    Mardi Gras is real good about throwing shorthairs cause she has lots
    of Exotics behind her!  
    
    Ah, the fun of waiting for the hair to grow - it can give ya gray
    hairs!!

    I should say Cin is proud!  They really are pretty!  Lil is really
    quite the little mother!  She's great!  But then, she was great
    before she was a mom!!
    
    As to showing them - welllll - if they are shorthaired, that's another
    story - we only show the longhairs as AOVs - or using them for
    breeding.  I really don't know just yet what I will do with these
    little beanie weanies - just let them grow up and get big and strong
    for now - and ENJOY them!

    you're going to have your hands full!   ;-)

    Hey E.T... Happy told me that  Lil was also enjoying her
    new Motorcycle with the side car for her "babies".. and
    I also heard tell.. the "shower was being held Sunday
    at YOUR HOUSE.. For all of you that  are not aware
    since HRH has passed on.. Happy has taken over the 
    WEDDING/BABY SHOWER Business.. and as with "takeovers"
    the face of the business has changed. Happy has  replaced
    the tradional  shower color schemes with more "let us 
    say vibrant colors.. hmmm.. and then th "buffet menu
    has changed as well..  HEH-heh

Well, I shall give my personal testimony.....

I've seen a few baby kittens in my time, but these girls are adorable.  Of
course, I compare them to baby Julie, who was so ugly her mother was ashamed!
She must look like her dad.  I can't believe they're ready to get out of the
crib already.  WWWAAAAAHHHH!!!  I want baby kittens!!!!!

    Fine, just give me 20 minutes to vacuum, 2 minutes to change the
    diapers on the babies, and make sure you don't show up until at
    least after 1 pm, I"ll be tired from the show on Saturday !
    Any time after 1 pm is fine - if anyone needs directions,
    send mail!  Oh yeah, BYOS (bring your own snacks) this will
    be a low-budget shower!
    
    Lil says that Happy did good! Mom is ready to pop Happy in her
    happy face for that motorcycle - what a noise maker!  Lil is
    now out late every night, staying up till all hours playing.

    Lil says bring pictures! BUT NO POCKETS - she will be manning
    the kitten detector at the door on the way out!
    
    It's so funny - when I look at the smaller of the kittens, and she's
    not really small, but the larger one is sorta big!, it's like looking
    at Lily pint-sized!  I think she is going to have her mom's cute
    front legs (no legs) - really cute - and she seems to use her front
    paws like Lil does - takes the front paws and covers her eyes with
    them - when she does that I just melt it's so CUTE!  Then they both
    roll over on their backs and want their tummies tickled!  
    
    Sunday will be their 'out of their box' debut!  They will probably
    turn into yukky poo heads - walk in their food, eat litter.  Oh boy,
    I can hardly wait.  Lily will really have her hands full.  Boy, is
    she a great mom!  She pins them down and cleans them whether they
    want to be cleaned or not!  You should hear them howl!!
    
    BTW, if anyone going to the Marlboro show this Saturday wants any
    of the catnip mice, I"ll have a couple of dozen there.  If I get
    them finished off before the show.  This is the last batch so if 
    you want any for Christmas, let me know.  I have blue, green, 
    burgandy, and a few purple!

     E.T. , well in all honesty.. I had heard the shower was supposed
    to be on Saturday while we  humans are at the show.. but..
    Happy had to rearrange a few things.. See Auntie Joyce
    is coming to "keep Happy company" while Preschie and I are
    in Marlboro.. and that means that Happy is going get
    "special attention, treats,, and have a  litle girl
    to play with for the day..(Joyces daughter).. so they
    reaaranged the shower date to Sunday..
        hmm.. I suspect the noisy motorcycle is the Happycat
    TURBOMODELBRRMVROOM 91 MODEL.. HEHEH..

    I caught CC and Isis and Bonnie planning how they were going to
    sneak CC out before I could get her to the show so that she
    could go to the party!!  Think I could pass Shadow off as a 
    brown tabby ;-)
    

     Nancy, that explains the "  er um "colored "mousse I found in
    Happys possession, and the "FEDEX envolope and the request
    for  10 dollars..."
