| Rosie was about 3 to 4 months old before her eyes finally changed from
blue to yellow. She is only 5 months old at the moment, so I'm not
certain about her coat colour. I think it may be six months.

| As far as Orientals/Siamese go, the coat color can darken with age. By
six to eight months you should have a good full color. As they grow
older from this point the hair on their backs can darken. Their eyes
are always blue, so it is hard to tell!

| I'm not a breeder and certainly not an expert, but I've noticed that certain
colors/markings of a cat can continue to "deepen" up to a year....or I'm
getting senile, which is always a possibility....My opinion derives from my
observation of the thundering herd in my house which is certainly not a
scientific survey.....However, I've noticed that our all black Samson, long
haired sorta-Maine-Coon, didn't get a full adult coat until he was about
a year old. Nicholas's gray and white tuxedo coat used to have soft long
white hairs scattered throughout his gray which disappeared when he was around
a year old. Hannah's color points deepened in pattern AND color up to
approx. 1 year of age...and, of course, Tabs' siamese points are darkening
with her age now that she is getting near the end of her life.
I suspect coat takes longer to get established than some folks would think.

| A kitten's eye color will change between 8-12 weeks. Even after
the initial change takes place, the eye color can continue to deepen.
On my blue eyed Birmans I can still notice this change in eye color.
Newborn eye color is a very intense deep blue, with little color
definition in the pupil. On my birmans, at about 9 weeks I start
to notice that the iris is beginning to color in blacker and that
the surrounding blue color is lightening up. I have also noticed
that Birmans don't seem to get their adult eye color until they
are about a year old.
Coat colors on Birmans, Siamese, and other pointed breeds vary as
to the amount of time that it takes for full coat color to come
in. The average is about 8-9 months for full masking. Some lines
take longer than others, and some lines tend to keep a lighter body
color than others.
Sometimes all white cats will have a spot of color on the top of
their heads. This usually disappears around 8 months old.
I think that most coat colors will intensify as the cat gets older.
