| Sounds like he's won your heart! :-) Re. your other cats and acceptance
all I can advise (from past experience with 6) is give them time to
adjust and don't keep them separated. Let them get their pecking order
straightened out and get acquainted. It will take awhile but before you
know it, I'll bet they'll be playing and sleeping together like mine do.

-< A new addition ... Maybe?????? >-
Hi,
I found a stray kitten this weekend. I stopped at my mother's house
for a minute on Saturday. And a woman visiting a store next door
brought a little cream colored kitten to my mother's door. She told my
mother that the kitten was trying to dodge cars on the busy street. I
told the woman that I would bring the kitten home and try to find his
owner and I would check the lost and found ads. The woman then just
left and that was that. I checked all resources and I found no one
that owned this kitten. And if someone did own the kitten they totally
neglected this poor little thing. And they should not have owned him.
I brought the kitten home and immediately gave him a bath. Then I
gave him another bath. He was covered with so much fleas that I
couldn't get them off by bathing him. The fleas were imbedded in his
small little body. I didn't know what to do. There were so many fleas.
Finally I got all the fleas off him. Then I bathed him again. He looked
like a little drowned rat. He was so pitiful looking. My heart went out
to him.
He is a about four months old. And he has one baby tooth coming in
where his front teeth are. And he is more of a orange kitten after I
bathed him.
My problem is, as I stated in the notes file, my Pepe' dissapeared.
I have falling in love with this handsome little orange kitten
and I would like to keep him. But my two brother cats do not especially
like the new long haired cat I brought in to the household a few months
ago and now the two brothers do not like the new orange kitten.
I don't know what to do. I love all four cats and no one likes each
other. I bathed all of them with the same shampoo and they all smell
the same but each cat looks at each other and I swear that they can
tell each one apart in the dark. And I don't want any other kitties to
dissapear like Pepe' did. I miss Pepe' dearly.
HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP???????????????????
If anyone has any advice to give, I would appreciate it alot.
Sincerely,
Denise & Smokey, Spooky, Kuji, Toby (the dog), and a little orange
kitten..........

| Denise...he sounds like a sweetie who was meant to stay. I truly
do no believe Pepe ran away because of the other cats...so don't
let that be in the way of your decision.
As far as all of them getting along....we originally had three...but
for the last month we have two kitties (I will introduce them soon)
who have lived with us due to their owner does not take care of
them. (We have Pajama Parties every night) But my babies have
learned to accept them...they spit at first...but now they play
together and soon I bet they will be sleeping side by side. It
just takes time!!
He needs you and your family!!
Sandy (Tambe, Poco, Barkley, Chloe and Anges) It's starting to
look like a shelter!!)

| I agree with the previous notes. Just give it time and don't
interfear. They'll work it out.
re: fleas - what did you use to bathe the cat? There are some
pretty good flea shampoos on the market.
It would also be a very very good idea to get this little guy to
the vet for his shots, worm medicine, maybe earmite medicine and
a FLV check.
Thanks for caring.
