| Do I see another kitty in the making.....please keep us posted.
In the US...I have used HP9000 which I saw on Amazing Discoveries.
(Television show) It works very well on old and new kitty/doggie
stains. You probably can't get that in the UK either.

who are not being taken care of)

| An analogue to HP9000 is DIDISeven, which is made in France.
It should be available in the UK... and if not, hop the ferry!

| The catch with DIDI 7 is that its activated by water AND its not
designed to work on substances that are supposed to be permanent -
like fabric paints.

| I use HP9000 which I believe is similar to DIDI 7 and find it works
very well on most stains. We moved into our home last year and
have a light blue rug that the previous owner's dog did his duty
on.( more then once) We tried all types of cleaners...but couldn't
find anything to get out this old stain that was there for over a
year.
We tried HP9000 and it removed all traces of the stain....without
much elbow grease. The rug looks like new...but on the other hand...
I had a shirt that had a coffee stain and after 3 applications of
HP9000 it finally came out.
I find it works very well and found it reasonably cheap considering
you do not have to use much of it.

4035.7 | buyer beware!!!!!!! | FRAGLE::PELUSO | PAINTS; color your corral | Tue Oct 02 1990 14:59 | 17 |
| I know someone who used the didi7 per the instructions and it ruined
her rug (well her dogs had already ruined it - the didi7 took the
color out of the rug).
20/20 or 48 hours did a segment on those products and their marketing
ideas. They said that the products advertised in the hour comercials
arn't what they claim to be. There isn't much by way of regulating
what they produce, hence I think a lot of people get taken to the
cleaners.
Michele (who is a sucker for that garbage)
p.s.
If anyone is interested in what the segment was about, I'd be more than
happy to discuss it off line......I'm sure it would be in conflict
with some DEC policy.

| I have used the HP9000 on multiple different items (rugs, cotton,
plastics etc..) and have found that it did not remove the color.
But yet they do tell you to do a Color test first. I even tried
it on my crabby wood cabinets...and it cleaned all the goo off...
but I do believe it did take a little bit of the stain off. (It
wasn't meant for wood....but I tried it anyway...I hate my cabinets)
I saw it on Amazing Discovery and ordered it through the mail.
I can publish the address, price and specific tomorrow.

4035.9 | HP9000 | WILLEE::MERRITT | | Thu Oct 04 1990 09:09 | 39 |
| HP9000 is from Germany. The pamphlet states it will replace
all the cleaning products in your home, difficult stains disappear
before you eyes, and it works on silver, brass, jewelry. There
are messages through-out....stating ensure the product you are
cleaning are color fast....do a test prior to applying all over.
In my opinion...I wouldn't say it replaces all products....
but it has removed stains from shirts, pants, and it did wonders on
my doggies stained rug.
It comes in a tube (like toothpaste) and you use about 1-2 inch
strip to remove a pretty big stain. The key is it activates when
you add water.
The following is the specifics:
