    OK gang... I need your help.  I know somewhere in this notesfile is a
    list of shelters.  I don't know where it is and am not versed in the
    search methods.  I need to know ASAP where certain ones are located and
    hopefully, their telephone numbers.
    
    A friend of mine has a West Highland Terrier.  Due to certain reasons,
    she is going to a shelter this evening.  She is not a bad dog.  She
    just needs a little supervision.
    
    Now my friend doesn't know where she is being taken.  I'd rather not
    go into the reasons.  This would be a third home for the baby.  My
    friend also doesn't know if she will be taken to a *no-kill* shelter.
    
    What I want to do is to call ALL the shelters in the area and find out
    where she is.  Then I want to post a note in the Canine file to see if
    someone can adopt her.  I really don't want to see her put to sleep.  I
    would take her but I already have a house-ful and can't afford any
    more.

	Sandi, Please let your friend know that if her dog ends up at the Nashua Humane Society that she will be well taken care of. And I promise to give the pup a pat on the head when I'm there next week for my bingo meeting. JJ

	Boy, do we work fast!!!!!! So far, I have 3 messages giving me info on shelters. I also have someone very interested in taking her. That's not definite, YET, but there is definitely hope. I also have an update on where. Dr Kruger, a vet in Pepperell gave a shelter name out. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's the same place I got Keisha, many years ago. I will know more very shortly. Will definitely keep you posted. Thanks gang, Sandi

	I don't believe it -- I have wanted to "rescue" a Westie for over a year now and this is the second dog to become available. Both times I've been out of the office and by the time I finally got to read Notes the dogs had homes elsewhere! ARRRGGGGGHHHHHHH Jan who_misses_having_a_lap_dog
