The cookbook Chris Methot mentioned in #3966 is out and I have my copy - quite nicely done! And... the money goes to a good cause. There are two terrific quotes (along with pictures of our favorite type pet) that I wanted to share with you. "If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat." That Mark Twain quote is one of my favorites. Another one attributed to Bradley Miller is: "Teaching a child not to step on a caterpillar is as important to the child as it is to the caterpillar." I'm sure I've written it in here before, but it bears repeating. Someday I'm going to needlepoint it. BTW - my Animal care catalog has a T-shirt for sale with the Mark Twain quote on it. |
