| I will add Missy's name to the silver lining memorial. (I'm
at home today).
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your little guardian - not doubt

| Linda, what a loving eulogy for Missy. She may have lived a short life
but the loyalty, devotion and unconditional love she gave to the baby

all children should be so lucky as to grow with such a sweet, loving
guardian. what a touching tribute to a cat who obviously got as much

| Sad but beautiful. I had a cat that adopted my oldest daughter when
she was born. He also was very protective. I bet your daughter also
misses her little playmate.

| I agree, that is a wonderful story. Just think, from now on that story
will be told to the child as it grows and then perhaps to their
children. This wonderful cat will live on forever, as it should be.

| So very, very sorry in your loss of Missy! I, too, was
adopted as an infant in the same way by our Smokey--my
guardian cat angel.
His greatest gift to me (he died when I was 4) is my strong
and complete love for all kitties.
May your Josh remember how well he was loved!

| please accept my condolences as well. My Mom talks about Sam, a
Siamese cat we owned when I was born. Apparently Sam slept with me in
the crib and when I'd cry, he'd go make sure Mom got out of bed and
took care of me. He never let me be ignored. Missy sounds like a very
special family member.
