| I once took a course from them to get an electricians license and
found the material pretty ancient. Best ask them to produce a
sample of text. (a salesman will call!!) If you can tie into a
vet willing to teach you something, my intuition about no tuition,
the on the job training will be best. By the way I never got my
real electricians license.

| check with the local library on the school credentials. Many of these
schools are scams - reported extensively in 60 Minutes a few years back.
You want to be sure the school you pay will, in fact, provide an accredited
degree of some form. MANY will not.
A librarian can help you find out how you can find out if the school is
recognized and accredited as a technical training institution. Do not
rely on the fact that the gov't loans will pay for the tuition. That is
one thing that the piece in 60 Minutes made very clear....the government
will pay for junk.
BE A CAREFUL CONSUMER!
