An update on the home search for the stray kittens ("Tuxedo" kitten and siamese
mix litter mate):
Buck and Simon went to their new home in Redwood City early this afternoon.
The woman who took them is wonderful! Lives alone, loves cats, is familiar
with the mess kittens can make and doesn't mind, and is moving into her new
home at the end of the coming month. Buck took to her and her home
immediately. Simon remained shy, but she has worked with those that need a
little extra care and is looking forward to coaxing him over to her side. I
can't say that I could have found a better home!
I'm happy. ...And I'm miserable, I miss them already. The only momentos I
have are a couple of photos and a dirty litter box. The photos I'll keep, but
the litter box -- well, maybe it would make a good herb garden.
