| I spoke with a friend who shows animals. She said cream is a good
color for Persians. When it comes to show, it'll depend on the
over-all quality of the cat, but cream Persians are a class
distinction.

| I know that in this area (new england) the competition for Persians
is VERY tough. There are alot of Persian breeders in this area.

| As .1 said, when competing in a cat show, the overall quality is much
more important than the color of the cat. A cream colored cat should
almost look "pink". Each breed of cat is separated into individual
color classes, so one color isn't "better" than another.
The largest classes seem to be Blacks, Whites, and Reds. Although,
that also varies from year to year, and what happens to be "in style"
that particular year. I can remember when a Red used to be a minority
color.

| Reds weren't the minority this year, with two reds (okay, so one
was a tabby :^}) in the top 20 cats nationally in CFA.
