| I have never seen them in pet stores only at the shows. I know what
you mean about your cat missing them, mine go absolutely nuts over them.
My haband have hours of fun with the cat teases and the kids
Usually when I go to the show I buy them by the dozen and bring them
into work for other feline owners.
Try to make it to the nearest show or ask someone you know is going
to get you one.

I just gotta ask you I have always wondered where do you get the shinny
sparkler stuff. I was thinking I would like to make them too but
couldn't figure out what the tassells came from.

| Gee, if I tell everyone how to make them, how am I going to sell
them!!! ;-)
Actually, I was surprised....they cost more to make than I thought they
would, and took LOTS more time. The tassels are actually Mylar curling
ribbon bought on rolls and cut into small pieces!
I'm hoping these "sparklers" are more profitable than the kitties! It
really wouldn't take much! ;-)
I've made about 20 or so of the sparklers so far, and I've found they
cost me almost a $1 apiece to make....not counting my time, that is!
If anyone's interested, I'll bring a bunch of them to the Feline Party
on August 2nd.

| Cin - definitely bring some! Murdock *loves* those sparkle toys. He
has even learned how to play his own game by picking up the end in his
mouth and running around in circles with it. Now, if I could only get
him to do that on cue he might be prime for a TV commerical!!

for now..I got some in Salem.. and the "kids" really like
them.. Even HRH "played".. she jumped up and down.. just like
a "baby furface".. of coursee I could get sued for making this
announcment..

colors! I'll even have feathered ones by then too, I think.
I'm selling them for $2.00 each....I think that's either the same, or a
little less than at the shows.
If anyone wants them earlier, I'm in PKO....just send me mail and I'll
bring them into work with me.

Mom said she ran into this lady carrying a handful of sparklers, she
knew it had to be you. okay I didn't want you to devoulge any top
secret manufacturing techniques.. I just wanted to know what the shiny
stuff was made from.. Thanks for letting me know. By the by I've
gotten side tracked these last few week looking for a new job. But
lets continue our discussions on finding MR. Right (for my girls of
course...) I keep promissing Maxine something soon but she's getting
real impatient, if you know what I mean. She's driving me bonkers.
9 months old and shes in and out of heat evey 2 weeks... unreal...

| Just wanted to let you know that the residents of Brown's Home for Stray Cats
were permitted to test-drive three of these sparklers, and everyone agreed they
are terrific! Even old, dignified George allowed himself a few moments of play.
I bought three - one blue, one green, and one silver. For reasons that are
totally mysterious to us mere humans, the unanimous favorite was the green. No
doubt about it, they all went absolutely bonkers over the green while the blue
and silver only elicited mild frenzy. Who knows how a feline mind works?!
Congratulations to Cindy for a well-made toy!!

| I've often wondered if the cats can see some colors more than others...
hmmmmm, this is pretty intersting. Never tried the color test on my
"kids". They love the gold one that's theirs!
