| Heidi -
If you can't find a temporary home, perhaps you could borrow or
rent a good sized cage. That way you could contain them in a
relatively comfortable environment during the day - protecting them
and the workers - and let them out at night when the workers are
gone. I know the idea of caging them is probably not very attractive
to you. I hate to cage a cat unless absolutely necessary.
But it may provide a good temporary solution if you can't find
another home for them.
I wish I had an extra cage to loan you. Perhaps some of the local
breeders might have something.

Heidi, what about some kind of `kitty daycare'? Maybe that
would be less expensive than boarding (ie they wouldn't have
to feed them for you). You could drop them off on your way to
work, pick them up coming home, and they wouldn't have to deal
with the construction (assuming it will all be done during the
day). I don't know where you work, but there's a great cat
boarding facility in Northboro (might be Berlin, but it's only
about ten min from Westboro center) called Catnaps. Maybe she
could work something out for you....

Sherry & Nancy,
Thank you both for your helpful suggestions! At the last minute
a friend came through and she now has my babies at her home.
I'll keep Catnaps in mind for future use - thanks again!
