3716.2Will check the shelter in Fitchburg tomorrow!NATASH::ANDERSONFri Jun 15 1990 14:4113
    Hi.

    I am going to a shelter in Fitchburg tomorrow - will check to see if
    there is a kitten there that is the kind you are looking for. Do you
    definately have to have a kitten (I know you said preferably under 4
    months old) - would you consider an older cat? I am not trying to
    influence your choice - I am just trying to get as much information as
    I can before I get there.

    Also, where do you live?

    I live in the Concord (MA) area. I have already been through this
    before...and DEFINITELY want a young kitten! Thanks so much!
3716.4I'll let you know for sure Monday morning,NATASH::ANDERSONFri Jun 15 1990 15:588
    O.k....I will see what I can do at the shelter for you. I'll let
    you know Monday morning.

    I believe there is a fee of $20 to adopt a cat - it will have all its
    shots and have been tested for feline leukemia.

    see note 415.737

    There is a black and white kitten looking for a home in that note.
    It is about five or six weeks old, was abandoned on the road and
    a kind sole took it in. The sex is unknown, but you have a 50/50
    chance that it is a girl. :^)

3716.6Try the Lowell Humane SocietyBOOKIE::FISCHERFri Jun 15 1990 19:386
    There were three or four litters of kittens at the Lowell Humane
    Society when I stopped by there last Saturday. Why not give them
    a call -- 452-7781.

3716.7There is a 2 1/2 month old tabby in FitchburgNATASH::ANDERSONMon Jun 18 1990 09:5812
    I went to Pat Brody's shelter in Fitchburg, Saturday, and she has a 2
    1/2 month old tabby kitten that is GORGEOUS. My daughter fell in love
    with it and wanted to bring it home - but I am not (for the moment)
    going to add to the brood.

    Pat said a donation of $10 would be sufficient as the kitten needs
    shots.

    Let me know if you are interested - the kitten is ready to go.

3716.9Tabby needs a homeESIS::GRIFFINTue Jun 19 1990 09:336
    If you haven't found a kitten already, I have a black and grey female
    tabby that needs a home. She's was born 4/19, and is 8 1/2 weeks old.
    I'd love to keep her myself because she has a beautiful face, but I
    already have too many pets.

    YAYAYAYAYAY! For future reference, I believe Carol Weston's brood
    (the Dudley road strays) has a litter running around from the last
    female she's been unable to catch. I believe she can be contacted
    at USCTR1 or USCTR2::CWESTON (try it and find out, I guess).
