| By the way, what we think happened (and the surgeon agrees) is that
Missy tried to jump down to the railing on the first floor deck and
either landed wrong or missed altogether.

Where are you? I have a kennel about 3' long, 2 1/2' high and
2-2 1/2' wide. Is that what size varikennel you have? If you
can make it to NRO to pick it up, I cna let you borrow it...

3666.3 | Thanks, Sherry | MEMIT::MISSELHORN | | Tue Jun 05 1990 14:18 | 15 |
| Thanks, Sherry for the offer. From the sound of it, your kennel
and our verikennel are about the same size. What the surgeon wants
us to use is something bigger so that we can fit the litter box and
food and water right in the cage with the cat. I'm guessing something
that's about 4 by 3' or around that size would do it.
My boss suggested that I try cross posting this in the canine file
so I'm going to try that too.
Thanks again.
Barbara
By the way, we live in Maynard and are willing to drive probably
an hour in any direction if anyone knows of anyplace to get a cage.

| Hi Barbara,
When Meg was spayed, the vet recommended keeping her kenneled, primarily cause
Chauncey thought she was easy pickens! I bought a huge VariKennel, but when
I was done with it, I sold it to a women who rents out these kinds of things.
Naturally, her number is at home, so I'll post it tonight for you. The big
kennel I bought held Meg, a litter box, food, blankets, and toys. She
didn't seem to mind it at all.

That's ME!! I'm in Francestown NH but can meet you in Nashua if
that's easier. You might want to check out Chelmsford Pet Care
Center as they also rent crates.

| Oh, so there you are!!
Thanks!!!! If we want to do something middle of the road, I live in Nashua
and work in Littleton, so I can be a go-between for the crate (especially
since I now drive a 4-door Blazer!!).

3666.7 | Thanks! | MEMIT::MISSELHORN | | Tue Jun 05 1990 16:41 | 10 |
| Thanks everyone!
I have a call in to Mary Anne right now and Mary, if things work out
that we need help in getting it down here, I'll let you know. (By
the way, that offer is very generous--thank you.) My husband works
in Boxboro so picking it up in Littleton would be great.
Thanks again to all who've written and called.

| Barbara,
I have an extra Tokyo cage that you can borrow if you'ld like. I live
in Fitchburg, so that's not very far from you.
I also have a few other size cages that might work out better.
Contact me either by mail at ICS::GERRY or phone at DTN: 223-5991.
