3655.0. "WANTED TRIPLE-PAWED" by CURIE::MEZZANO () Wed May 30 1990 15:41

This is my first time entering Feline - Hi.

I am looking for a new kitten it "must" be
    a triple-pawed female, either angora or mid-length
haired. This would be a replacement for my
deceased "triple-pawed" kitten. Is there such
    a kitten out there???

    Thank you,

    Sharon

    Sharon -
I'm sure there is such a kitten out there - probably in a shelter.
I saw a triple pawed adult at the Kitty Angels booth at a show last
year. Why dont you try some of the shelters. You can start with
Framingham humane - contact DLNVAX::PALMER. She can give you details.
      Where do you live?

    Sharon -

You can also try the Haverhill Dog Pound. (508) 374-2415
If they don't answer, you can leave a message for them at the police
station (508) 373-1212. They ask a $10 donation for kitties because
the people who run the pound buy the food themselves. (It's only
supposed to be for dogs but the people there are real cat-lovers.)

Good luck looking for a new kitty and I'm sorry about your loss of your
    old friend.

Rachael ( Spike & Pretty, who came from the dog pound)

    Nancy,
Thanks for your reply....I live in Auburn, MA. Not too far from
Framingham. Thanks for the info....I'll try that!

Thanks Rachael but Haverhill is quite a distance from my home. I'm
sure this time of year should produce maybe a few litters that I may
hear about. My "Kali" was only eight months old but slipped on some
ice during the last ice storm last year and according to the Vet had
a "diaphragmatic hernia" which caused a punctured lung. We had to
put her away and both my husband and I "cried", yes we were very
attached even though she only spent 6 and 1/2 months with us. My
husband and Kali would play tag every night.....she would stop in her
tracks and give him a couple of swats with those huge paws (no claws)
and then run the other way! More like a dog than a cat and he is the
one that wants another "triple pawed" kitten.

Anyway, thanks for the info...I appreciate it.
