    not only have I saw it, I got it in the mail last night. It comewith
    the questions "DOES HE ALWAYS SLEEP WITH YOU" on the outside of the
    "envelope" that kind of folds out into other similar questions. Inside,
    there was a "buy two, get one free" coupon" for Amore cat food and a
    survey that they would like filled out. If you fill out the survey the
    makers of Amore are supposed to send you a "gift".

    On the subject of Commercials - Isn't the new Whiskers advert that
    is currently running in the UK absolutely lovely?!!!
    MUCH better than the usual boring advert that they do - 
    The first little clip is a small kitten sitting in the sink, playing
    with the drops from the tap; the second is of two kittens playfully
    fighting in a boot; then you see all the cats coming out of boxes,
    down stairs and through doors to get to their food.
    
    And not a WORD about the '8/10 owners said....'!!

    I'm so glad you wrote about this. I got a flyer in the mail too.
    It's provocative and exciting (and, I might add, a good marketing
    job i.e. sex (and humor) sell). It's printed on 7.5" by 7.5" paper. 
    
    The first page is in glossy black, and the white letters ask, "Does he 
    sleep with you?" (I'm thinking it's another add for a singles club.) 
    Then, you have to fold the flap down. 
    
    Next in glossy purple, 'Does he get jealous?' (I'm thinking, 'Gee,
    this is better than reading Cosmo.') Turn flap to side.
    
    In *hot* pink, 'Does he wake you up in the morning?' (This *can't*
    be a singles add!!!) Turn flap to other side.
    
    In passionate red, 'Does he nibble on your ear? (Oh, this is tooo goood 
    to be true!) Turn flap up and see!!!
    
    The face of a very sincere looking cat! (I laughed for a long time.)
    
    I really thought this was *cute*! 
    

    Oh, I must add that after the picture of the cat, there is a letter
    which reads,
    
    'Dear Theresa:
    
    You're on a luxury cruise liner in the Caribbean. A wave smashes
    over the deck, washing your husband and your cat overboard.
    
    Who would you save first?'
    
    Then it goes on to say that, of course, you'd choose the cat...

    I've also received this ad in the mail and I've seen it in Cats
    and Cat Fancy mags.  In the mags it takes the form of a 3x4 ad in
    the bottom right-had corner of 6 consecutive pages.  Its GREAT!!

    Of course I would save my cat, my husband knows how to swim!!!

    I live in Albuquerque, and I got one of those surveys *but* I haven't
    seen the commercial.  Figure that one out.

    I don't think I got the survey or I didn't notice it after I found
    the coupon.  I live in Mass.  I'll have to look at the flyer again.

    I had such a laugh opening up the flyer `Does he sleep w/ you'.....I 
    was ready to crawl under the table (my mom handed it to me).....
    
    I get tons of catalogues from vet supplies to whatever.  Maybe they
    bought a mailing list from a magazine or catalogue place (the folks at
    State Line Tack told me this is how they send out their coupon
    flyer)...

    I also live in Mass (North Central) and got the flyer and the survey. 
    Have mailed it back and now I'm waiting on the receipt of the gift.

    I'm in New Hampshire and got the flyer.  My husband thought it was for
    some romance novels, but when I showed him it was for "something
    better", he loved it.  I too am awaiting my gift.

    I looked again and sure enough, there was the survey.  I had only
    gotten as far as that pretty catface.  Anyway, I had quite a time
    answering it for all of my kitties!  I could practically check
    all the answers on every question.  Don't know how much good it
    will do them.  Boy, I'd enjoy a job doing market research like 
    that.  :-)

    I received one and sent it back. I'm in New Jersey.

    	Well I finally saw the commercial on TV this past week...
    
    	cute!
    

There are a couple more of these commercials.  One has a guy, clothed only
in a bath towel, playing 'Casey at the Bat' with his tabby cat (well, we have
to appeal to the menfolk cat owners, too...).  The cat swats at a balled up
piece of paper, and finally gets a hit.  The pitcher proclaims it to be
a single off the wall, the kitty protests, and the pitcher gives in and
gives the cat a double....cute....

The next one is a woman who gets stood-up by her scumbag boyfriend.  Her
ever-devoted kitty crawls up her sweater, nuzzles her, and she says "you'd
never stand me up for dinner, would you?:"...hey, lady, NO cat would miss
a meal!!

Great set of commericals!!

    Evidently the "Casey at the Bat" commercial works - my husband

      Well, you wouldn't know that if you watched Dundee-super-snob.  He
    just turns his nose up at the food.  Of course, he'll lower himself
    to lap some cream.
