The Gardner Animal Hospital just took in nine more felines that need
homes. It appears they were abandoned in an apartment and the landlord
found them. A mother cat had kittens about three or four weeks ago, and
with no food or water her milk dried up. The kittens are ok just very
hungry, mom cat is ok too. There were also two siamese (they appear to
be pure bred) a male and female. The male has been neutered and the
female was being checked for spay. There is little black and white cat,
and one more that I don't remember what the last cat looked like
(sorry!). The last time I was there was last Saturday morning. The
kittens looked like they may be dark tigger babies. All these cats and
the other strays they have will be up for adoption when the time is
right for each cat or kitten.
If anyone wants to adopt or knows someone who does this is a very good
place to look. I realize the over population of felines is bigger than
we can imagine, but I thought it would be a good idea to put this info
in here. It never hurt to try to find good homes for our fury friends.
The hospital is located in Gardner, Mass and the phone number is
508-632-7110. Feel free to contact the hospital for any further info,
or myself. You can reach me on mail or dtn 241-3922.

The Siamese sound like a prefect match for a new note that was posted
as the lady had lost her companion of 19 years and was inquiring if she
should get 1 or 2 new ones.
Hope someone else's brain is better than mine and can make reference
to that note or let the person know about these Siamese looking for
a home.
Barbara
Wouldn't this make a happy ending to, two sad notes?

Thanks for the note about the lady that lost her friend. I will try to
get to her today. I'm sorry I don't have any more info on the cats but
will try to get some tomorrow. And I left out one thing out of the note.
If you or anyone is interested in any of the cats, when you call the
hospital ask for Rafaela. She does not work on Monday, but I think
she's there the rest of the time.
