    Yes!  PMS!
    
    SCRUFFY has had this twice now, we are in our second time.  It happen
    about 2 months ago, the first time......
    
    I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this:
    
    Scruffy is about 5 years old.  She has never had a litter.  I believe
    she was spayed before she adopted us.  But she seems to go into a
    
    "KINDA HEAT"  purrrrrrrrrrrring like a coo, excessively.  If you touch
    her, talk to loud or firm to her or your spouse!  If you pat her, walk
    out of the room.  She does this purrrrrrrrrrr/coo looking for a
    particular place to park her body.  In my closet or jumping on our bed. 
    It's like she just can't rest quite yet............but she's working on
    it.
    
    It get real tough (LIKE IN A PREVIOUS NOTE ABOUT FEELING GUILTY WHEN
    YOU LEAVE FOR WORK)......lately when I leave for work.  She knows, like
    I've mentioned, but this coooooooooooing is driving me crazy!!! It's
    hard not too loose my patience and ask her:  "What the heck do you
    want?"  I feed her, even extra, she'll go take a bite and that's it. 
    "Do you want to go out?" I open the door and she makes an attempt,
    changes her mind and coooooooooos.  ***** THIS ALSO HAPPEN ANYWHERE
    BETWEEN 4:00 A.M. and 6 A.M., changes her mind!  RIGHT! WRONG!!! Out
    the door after a while!
    
    I have come to the conclusion, per my husband she is having PMS and
    will not settle for anything else but TOTAL ATTENTION!!  Staying home.
    Sitting down so "SHE" can sleep on my lap or I'd have to take a nap
    with her.  Well, life does not present such opportunities and she gets
    real LOUD as she realizes, I'm not going to!
    
    The last time this happen, it lasted about two weeks, and we are near
    the end of the first................
    
    			This may be amusing, and it is, somewhat....
    
    			But it's driving me crazy,
    
    			She's luck I love her.............my Scruffy.
    
    

    Just tossing in a thought......Maybe she was spayed, but the
    job was not %100.  A neighbors dog was spayed, but she kept
    going into heat as if she wasn't.  Seems they "left" something
    behind (my guess is an ovary) that caused this, but she couldn't
    have puppies.
    
    Hormones!

    Yup!! Sounds like she's in heat....or is at least experiencing the
    hormonal imbalance that goes with being in heat.
    
      My Cookie turns into a wanton harlot when she comes in...goes areond
    sidling up to animals and inanimate objects without much
    discrimination... and that "bllrrrrrrpppp" sound that they make, along
    with those sideways looks just makes you crack-up...

    I had a farm kitty as a teenager and the vet just tyed her tubes
    instead of a complete spay. He felt that it would make her safer from
    wild animals. She had a ball twice a year without the responsiblites of
    motherhood.
    Maybe scruffy was done the same way?

    That is also a "VERY GOOD" possibility!  Since she came to us, about a
    year old.......
    
    I do belive she does have her fun!  She's been very protective of me
    and her home lately too.  Hissing at a few of the guys and smacking
    them.  She normally gets along with every one!
    
    Such a "Wanton Woman!"
    
    

    
    	Chloe is hysterical when she's in heat.  We will get her spayed
    	soon though.  But the wedding plans keep us busy not to mention
    	short of $$$...
    
    	She hasn't been in heat lately but when she is....BBBRRRRPPPP!
    	vvvvrrrrrvvvvvvrrrrrvvvvvrrrr....can drive you nuts after awhile
    	but watching her wiggle around on the floor with stars in her eyes
    	just cracks me up....
