    I suggest Reading as I know several FELINERS are based there.

    I actually live well West of Reading so we could go to a nice pub
    I know in Great Shefford .....

    Still waiting for those *enthusiastic* replies ...

    I'm game, but Reading is a *LONG* way from Warrington, maybe we should
    regionalise this one?

    I'd like to go, but I don't have a clue where Great Shefford is,
    let alone the pub.
    Any directions?
    I live in Whitley (South Reading).

3384.9Just past Newbury ...XNOGOV::LISAWed Mar 07 1990 05:1212
    Great Shefford is just off junction 14 of the M4. Head towards
    Wantage for a couple of miles on the A388 (I think thats the number!)
    The Swan is on a corner - you can't miss it! Be VERY careful as there
    are some VERY sharp bends in the road.

    Lisa.

    PS Is 7.30 OK? Too early/late/just right?

    PPS Bring loads of pics plus other halves!

        the Swan is situated on the A338, two miles north of junction
        14 of the M4.                ---

    An enjoyable evening was had by all - all three of us that is! Where
    were you Phil - can't you drive ;-)

    We ended up at my house for coffee and P&P showed up for an all too
    brief cuddle! The pics of Oliver and Kayleigh (SP?) were good - its
    nice to be able to put a furry face to the name!

    We'll have to arrange another gathering - perhaps when PG has learnt
    to drive ;-)

3384.19Temporary Homes WantedXNOGOV::KARENwhen you wish upon a star...Tue Sep 18 1990 09:0316
    Can anyone in the Reading area help?

    I know someone whose friend is moving house shortly and has boarded her
    three cats with friends. As these people already have several cats of
    their own it's become impossible for them to keep the extra three. Is
    there anyone out there who would consider providing a temporary home for
    these three cats just for a few days until this person moves into her
    new home?

    If so could they contact Daren Seymour on 830 3751 or wessex::seymour.

    Any help at all would be appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Karen
