| Well folks, after having "Blackie" for about four weeks, I've
decided to rename him. He came to us with the name "Blackie" and
so far nobody likes it. He is black but in the sun you can see a
lot of very dark brown hair, the same color of a Hershey bar. That's
what I was thinking of calling him. Hershey.
How does that sound?
Let me try it: 'Here Hershey!!' (well that didn't work)
Let me try the old name: 'Here Blackie!' (still no cat!)
Let me try this: 'FOOD!!!' (IT WORKED!!)
Well now I'm not sure if I should call him Hershey or Food! Back
to the drawing board....

| Hey Mike, How about Blackie The Black/Brown Bear - when he is
grown up, he really WILL look like a LARGE black bear, cute
little tyke that he is! I really liked him - I have 3 all
black boys and black is one of my FAVORITES!

| Hurmp! Blackie! Even with 3 all black boys and one black and white
boy, I dun't have a 'Blackie' ! I dunno Cin, we are going to have
to get you a cat naming book for Christmas ! Now I think I really
got lucky with Tiger Lily !!! I mean after all, DWeeber (Dirty
White Boy) ahhhh.

| Well, Panther is also a nice name for a black kitty. So is Nikolas. And
Eirene (if the kitty is a girl).

I grew up with black cats. My first one was a domestic shorthair named
Jet (because she rans as fast a a jet, and she was Jet Black). She
passed away at the age of 16, and we later adopted a coon-like solid
black mail that we called "Viper".

| When you have so many kittens to name, sometimes you tend to take
the easy way out and name them the obvious.
Jo (who has had two kittens named White Tail, one named Little Tiny
Kitten, one named White Chin, one named Seal Baby, and one named
Munchkin)

| Cin, when Precious met Dr Eric for the time.. (she had not been
christined then) you had put "little one on the her medical records..
well.. that is what they pt on thier records,, it said Cattyshacks
Little One and then i had purchased some other stuff,, and someone
else made another entry and labeled it Cattyshacks Happy baby..
well, about 4 weeks later whne I was back for her shots.. Dr Eric
and I were in stitches over the 2 entries.. he was calling her
Little Miss No Name, to make a long story short, we fixed
everything.. I did like the other 2 names, but she is
so Precious, that one really fits her.. one other name
I relly liked when I was toying with naming her was Cattyshacks
Cookie Crumble..that will be the next one's name..
