3332.0. "How to 'serve' CAT." by SALEM::DILLON (It's never to late) Tue Feb 13 1990 15:53

	1) Over easy
walk up to a cat, cat rolls over on back, rub belly.

	2) Sunny side up
DANGER!! watch out for this one folks. Here you walk up to a
cat which is sunning it's self, attempt to pat cat and block
the light. Dirty looks WILL follow!

	3) As a side dish
This is an easy one. Set table (any time of day or night) and
just turn your back for 3 seconds. Your cat will be on the
		side of the dish, eating.

	4) Chefs surprise
Just when you think you know what your cat will and will not
eat, he refuses to eat his "favorite" dish and wants something
		else. SURPRISE!

	5) Baked
You must have a fireplace for this one. Start fire, cat will
bake itself. CAUTION: do not touch cat at this time, you could
burn your self, and cool off the cat for a split second and
		get wicked bad looks!

	6) Boiled
This is how your cat acts when you try to give it a bath!

	7) As a tossed salad
Company is over and cat jumps up on table and eats salad. Now
you have to toss the cat and salad out as company leaves for
		McDonalds.

	8) As a Caesar salad
You sit down to a baked fish diner, give cat his usual dry
food and it looks at you as if you just tried to poison him and
he says "meow meow meow" (translated: et tu human!)

How do you 'serve' your cat?

    Mike

ps, how do I know all this?? My wife Diane and I are the owned by
two new kittens and I catch on fast!

    	As Smorgasbord!

She gets her din din warmed in the microwave for 45 seconds
to take the chill off and is served. If she doesn't jump right
in there, we find another more palatable flavor and serve it
in a bowl alongside. For a special dessert about once or twice
a week, we have a little catnip in yet another bowl.
    	I know, spoiled, spoiled, spoiled! But, it's my job.  *8^}

Of course on birthdays - and today is Bob's first birthday - the
cats get "Deep sea" brand people Tuna. For you "animal activist"
folks - Deep sea is one of those brands caught with fishing lines
not nets - and the only type my kitties or I will eat. :-)

A brand of tuna in a local health food store has started putting
pictures of dolphins with a crossed circle on the can. I'm
not describing this very well - the sort of circle that goes over
a cigarette to mean no smoking, only in this case it means
this tuna is caught without killing dolphins.

    As a heating pad:

I get into bed, settle down for a good night's sleep, and
immediately find five cats under the covers with me, on top
of my arms, legs, and back.

Note: Great care must be taken when changing position during the
night. Disgruntled half-asleep kitties are no fun!
