too, or not. I tore that page off in the beginning. Oh, just found
it on the floor under my desk.
ENTER THE CAT CALENDAR CONTEST NOW!!
If your cat has won a place in your heart, it may win a place in
America's, too. Enter its picture in the 1991 Cat Calendar Contest.
Winning photos will appear in the 365 Cats Page-A-Day(TM) and winners
will receive free calendars. The only limit to the number of potential
winners is the number of days in the year.
RULES
Firmly attach a black and white glossy or matte finish print of
your catto an 81/2"X11" piece of paper. The picture of your cat
can be standard snapshot size 31/2"X5" (but enlargements to 5"X7"
or 8"X10" are preferred). Plese do not include humans in the
photograph. Write the cat's name, your name, your address and
telephone number in soft pencil on the back of the photo. On the
paper, type or print the same information, and add your cat's age,
breed (if you know), and a single sentence telling what makes your
cat so special. If you wish to enter more than one cat's photo,
or more than one photo of the same cat, please include them as one
entry.
DEADLINE
Entries must be postmarked no later than February 1, 1990.
JUDGING
Cat photos will be judged for their ability to set the tone for
the day. Mood studies, beautiful portraits and action shots depicting
great bravery, terrible predicaments and the quite unusual will
all be considered. Judges will include members of the Workman
Publishing staff. Winners will be notified by mail no later than
August 1, 1990. All entries belong to the publisher. Regrettably,
entries cannot be returned to contestants.
Principals and employees of Workman Publishing Company may not enter
the contest. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
