    I would like to find a nice home for a stray cat that my husband
    and I have been feeding.  Both my husband and I absolutely love
    animals but he is extremely allergic to cats, otherwise I wouldn't
    think twice about keeping this fella.  My husband can't even be
    in the same room with a cat for five minutes without breaking out
    and becoming severly congested.  We don't have a cellar, or I'd
    put the cat there.
    
    * I am unsure of the cats gender.
    * He/She is absolutely adorable!
    * Loves attention!  He/She walks in between my feet 
      whenever I walk away.        
    * Gray in color, and rather large
    * DOUBLE PAWS!  The largest I've ever seen!
    * He/She appears quite healthy and young, ... nice soft coat.
    * His/Her purr is incredibly loud
                           
    This cat is so loveable and cute!  I really wish we could keep it.
    The cat is currently living outdoors in our shed.  We live on
    a relatively busy street and I'm fearful for it's life.  Also, the 
    shed has no door and is not heated.  I want to find a home before I 
    have to take the cat to a shelter.  He deserves more than that.  
    
    I have kept him well fed, but I just cannot give him a home!

	double paws are a sign of good-luck. I believe it too- I have two cats with double paws - and things just seem to keep getting better. My mother also has a cat with double paws. Well, maybe I am just superstitious. Also, polydactyles (my spelling leaves alot to be desired) are common on the east coast and west coast but are uncommon in the mid-USA. Their history is interesting. This homeless grey sounds like a neat little cat who needs a home.

	I know this is a bit of a rat hole, but what exactly is a double paw. Does it mean the cat has two feet where there should be one? Sounds wierd! Lisa plus P&P who have normal feet (I think!)

	re:4 Did she try calling the vets in Wayland and Weston? Sometimes wandering pets are picked up and brought there. Also, she should call the Framingham Humane Society, Framingham Dog Officer, Wellesley Dog officer, and Natick Animal Control. They all surround Wayland, and possibly her cat could have strayed over their boundaries. It's worth a try anyway. Pat

	Just wanted everyone to know that the "little fella" made it to his new home safe and sound! I've never seen a happier cat! He is a perfect addition to the household. Looks like he finally has a permanent place to live. All I need to do is help the other two kitties adjust to the newcomer and find this new guy a good name. Thanks Darlene!
