3217.0. "Delete the unimportant stuff?" by BOOVX1::MANDILE () Mon Jan 08 1990 10:02

    Are any of the notes ever deleted to update
    the database? I went to the adoption section
    to see if there were any responses, and it has
    616 notes going back...........

    Just wondering.

Lynne,

I don't understand what you are asking. Some people do delete their
postings from the adoption note when the adoption is successful.
However, that won't change the number of replies that the NOTES
software reports. Go through the replies to that note sequentially
and you'll see that there are replies missing.

If I misunderstood your question, please try to explain again.

    Sorry, Pam;

    I found out later from an MIS person how the system works.
    The number still shows, even when memo is deleted.
