are still outside. The weather is supposed to get sooooo cold
tomorrow. Poor babies.

| Dear Lord,
I'm a lucky kitty, too. This crazy lady with a house full of cats took me in
on a cold morning. At first, I was afraid, but now I'm glad.
Lord, look out for my real Mom, who is too smart to be caught, but to dumb to
know any better. She taught me how to survive, and she seems to be an
expert.
And to all the FELINErs from whom my new Mom gets advice, help them to see
each other as friends and ease the pain of the losses so many have shared
this year.
We're all blessed to have each other!

| Dear Baby Jesus,
I'm sorry I stole you from the nativity scene and batted you all over the
kitchen floor. I saw my sister Julie swatting a wise man and figured it
was the thing to do.
Being a kitten is so hard at Christmas! I promise to be better next year.

I understand just what you must be going through. What made me finally
decide not to have a tree or put up decorations was when Spiro (who was
still moderatly feral) climbed the tree and sprayed the ikons I had
hung on it.

| Oh, what a riot!! I haven't put up a tree since Honey took the last one down
in 1984. I try to decorate with cat-proof things, but I guess next year, the
nativity scene goes into the china hutch!!
What goes on inside those little pea-sized brains???
