I'm entering this note for a friend. One of her cats, Slippers,
has been missing since Friday (10/20). She has notified the
animal hospital, and her son has alerted the neighborhood. If you
have any information, please send mail to SSVAX::SILLIKER. Here's
Slippers' description:
-small, spayed female, double-pawed (all 4 feet!), long-haired,
calico on white, yellow eyes, very vocal, very affectionate,
no collar (slips out of flea collars)
Slippers is an indoor/outdoor kitty, who usually doesn't wander,
and is home by 4 p.m. (when the kids get home from school).
She was lost in the Holden Road area of Sterling (very wooded).
Any help/sightings is greatly appreciated!

Tell your friend to have ALL her neighbors check cellars and garages.
She may have gotten locked in.

Hi,
Sorry to hear of your friends kitty. My sister who also lives in
Sterling on Kendall Hill Road, lost her cat, "Garp" who never, ever
goes anywhere was missing for 1 1/2 weeks, until finally the other
night "Garp" returned home. Garp is a shorthaired white kitty and she
was black when she returned with her eyes all red, looked as though she
had been on a bender for a week and a half. My sister thinks she might
have been caught somewhere and couldn't get out.
So what the point of this story you ask ? Well just tell your friend
to keep the faith, my sister almost gave up and was so releived when
the fat cat herself, came running up the driveway !!!
Our summer home is in Sterling, so I will keep a look out for your
friends cat !!
