This note is an update to note 415.536 A young female cat and her kitten are in need of a home - they are located in the San Jose area. The mom cat is approx. 7 - 8 months old. She has now been spayed, tested for FELV, and received her rabies and other basic shots. She has been tested for worms and found to be clean and healthy. Janey (her current name) has wonderfully unusual markings. She has markings like a tan/black tabby interspersed with blotches of pure tan and orange. She has a pure white muzzle, chest, and boots. She looks like a mix of calico and tabby. Janey has a dense, short coat and eyes that are more amber than yellow. Janey has a definite orange splatter on her left ear that makes her look like she got too close to someone while they were painting and caught a drop. Her kitten is a tan/black tabby with white accents (tummy and boots) and shows Mom's influence through the polka dots of color on her tummy...yes, polka dots! She is a rambunctious, curious little girl who looks like she, too, will have a short coat. She is 5 weeks old. The family providing foster care cannot keep these two much longer and I have no option but the SPCA if I cannot find a home for them. Please help me find a home for them...they will only keep them a few days at the SPCA before they are killed. NOTE: I have posted ads at vets, and followed all other suggestions in these notes that I can afford (we don't have free newspaper ads around here) to try. What we need is a home or even a reasonable foster home for these two - we are getting desperate! My E-MAIL is : THE780::WILDE My day phone : (408)737-2000 ext. 8203

The mommy sounds like a brown patch tabby & white, or a "Torbie and white" like my Mao. Either coloration is just beautiful. I hope someone will be able to give them a home, even temporarily soon. Good luck. Nancy DC

Dian, A co-worker is looking for a kitten to keep her remaining cat company after the death of its companion. I have given her your number and name and asked her to contact you. Hopefully, one or both will be placed very soon. Jan
2943.3 | update - still need homes in San Jose | THE780::WILDE | Ask yourself..am I a happy cow? | Mon Oct 16 1989 17:04 | 17 |
The kitten is 6 weeks old - and, now that I have pictures, I agree she is the cutest little gremlin I've seen in a long time. Mom and kitten can go seperately in 4 more weeks. I am still hoping I can find someone to take them...no response yet. Janey (mom) is definitely a tortie (with some extra pazazz thrown it) according to a cat expert here..and she has amber eyes! She has true white accents, not cream. The baby has not yet been named...but I call her scooter as she is such a sturdy, active little tyke..... Both kittens are loving and housebroken... D

These kittens still need homes desperately!! The weather is mild now, but it will get rainy and cold soon....PLEASE someone, help me find a home for them. The baby can be placed separately from Janey in 2 weeks...she will be old enough to have learned her catliness from Janey. Both are loveable and quite beautiful...When it gets cold and rainy, they are without warm shelter.. |
