2921.0. "Outdoor/barn cat wanted" by CRUISE::NDC (Nancy Diettrich-Cunniff-I wanted it all) Fri Oct 06 1989 10:45

I received the following mail from a co-worker of mine. If you
have a cat that would fill the bill please contact one of us.
If you contact either CDUNNINGTON or CROSSMON be sure you tell
them that I had posted her mail in FELINE after Carol forwarded
it to me so she'll have some idea of what you're talking about.

      Thanks
        Nancy DC

HI..

I don't need indoor cats.....

but in about 6-8 weeks I'll be ready for another outdoor cat (barn mouser)

It will need to be tough enough to exist with 2 dogs and 2 other barn cats

    Nancy,

    YES AN ANSWER!!!!!

The crew are now available for hire, much like the A-team but
    with a newer title....

if you have a mouse,we have a solution.

     no probs... :-0)

    Phil.

But Phil! I can't believe you'd want to give them up!!

Besides, I think she's only looking for one cat and I fear that
your crew would take over! I can see it now with your guys telling
the horses "Up against the fence and don't you move! Now, which
one of you guys stepped on MB's tail!"

      Nancy

p.s. Besides, she lives in southern Maine which is too far
    for easy visitation rights

    Weeeeelllll,

I dont want to give them away, they are only available for contract
    mouse Culls...........

I could see one of the crew ridin' around on a horse shooting
from the waist with his trusty 'ol 45 at the local mouse population..

Seriously though, why dosnt your friend just buy a load of mousetraps??

    Phil.

Probably because mouse traps aren't "self baiting" and "self cleaning".
    Besides she' loves animals.

What's going on here Phil! This is a nice job for some deserving
kitty and you want to replace it with technology!!!!!!!!

Wot a diet though, mouse, mouse, mouse and more mouse!!!

Wot happens if the cat is to good?? Do they do diet-mice now?

    Phil.

OH NO!! NANCY! BUT I DON'T LIKE SPAM! and now what is going
through my mind is The monty Python Parrot parody..except..
"this mouse is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired
and gone to meet its maker.....Bereft of life. it rests in peace..
It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This
    is an ex-mouse..."

    sorry, couldn't resist...

I heard on the news that Graham Chapman (of Monty Python fame) died
on Friday after a long battle with cancer.

These excepts are a nice tribute to him and the troupe.

"Is this where I come to have an argument?"

"I already told you it was..."

    "No, you didn't"

    "Yes I did"

    "No you didn't"

    "Yes, I did"

"this isn't an argument, this is merely contradiction"

    "No it isn't"

    And so on...

2921.10He will certainly be missed.CRUISE::NDCNancy Diettrich-Cunniff-I wanted it allMon Oct 09 1989 15:068
Yes, I heard that last week. And the Boston radio stations have
been playing alot of Monty Python lately, which is great, because
I love it! When someone of such talent dies I always feel that
the world really has lost someone of value - with things the way
they are today laughter is very precious.
