| Lighten up on John. He getting married soon and I'm sure he is
going through a lot of stress. Maybe his bride is allergic, a dog-
lover, etc. There are many reasons why a person must part with
their pet, and sometimes it's more humaine for the pet in the long
run to be adopted where there are children or more room to roam.
Let's not be too judgemental about this young man.

| I agree with .4. If a person is mature enough to realize that they
can't handle the responsibility of owning a pet, then they shouldn't
be critisized for that. I think that he is doing the right thing
for the cat by offering it for adoption to us feliners. Although
I disagree that it needs lots of room to roam. A less mature person
might have just dumped the cat out on the streets to fend for itself.
