This may seem like a silly question but it has me very upset. I am taking care of my parents house and cats, 2 siamese Pina Colada (she actually is my cat) and tigger too, I went there last night and fed them and spent time loving them, they were all over me. This morning when I got up (I have never slept in the house alone before) they RAN away from me! They would have nothing to do with me, needless to say I am very upset and I can't figure out what happened. These cats usually LOVE me. They are always all over me.

Are they normally pretty independent? I take care of a cat that is when his people are home, but when I'm there, he is all over me. Let's me pat him etc. Totally opposite behavior to the usual "leave me alone" stance. I figure he does this because he knows I'm there to feed him, and I'm not going to stay long. He gets in all the attention at once. I bet if I stayed longer, he'd go back to his independent self. Paula |
