    About a week ago, I saw a repeat of one of the newer Twilight
    Zone episodes.  It was cute, and I wanted to share it with you.
    
    The story was about a woman who was incredibly shy... especially
    with members of the opposite sex.  Can't remember her name, but 
    I'll call her "Mary".  Mary never dated, and could barely bring 
    herself to speak to a man.
    
    One night Mary went home and found a black stray tomcat in her yard.
    She brought him in, and suddenly, the cat turned into a very 
    handsome man.  The man explained that centuries ago, he was caught
    with another man's wife, and a curse was put on him to wander
    during the day as a tomcat and to turn back into a man at night.  
    He would find lonely women and satisfy their every desire.
    
    So... they spent the next several nights making wild passionate
    love, unknown to Mary's friends.  Well, one friend's curiosity got
    the best of her.  The friend visited her home while Mary was out.  
    The tomcat-turned-man invited her in, made advances, and they ended
    up in bed.  Mary was just arriving in time to see her friend leaving.
    
    She confronted the tomcat/man.  He waved her off, saying
    it "was the way of the tomcat" to travel from woman to woman until
    he got sick of them.  He said he was leaving, but Mary convinced him
    to stay just one more night.  She had plans for him...
    
    Mary made him his usual cup of coffee, but put several tranquilizers
    in them.  He drank the coffee, and promptly fell unconscious.
    
    The next scene shows Mary in the vet's office with the tomcat in the
    cage.  The cat is just waking up.  The vet's assistant comments what
    a beautiful cat she has and what can they do for her.  Mary replies,
    "he a tomcat...
    
    
    
    	and I'd like to have him fixed..."
    
    
    
    	The cat starts snarling at Mary as they take him away.
    
    The ultimate revenge!  But it also makes great sense for any
    unneutered tomcat!!

    I saw the end of that one.  I thought it was pretty good.  He
    definitely got what he deserved.  ;-)

    	Even though I'm not 'equipped' to commiserate, I'm not sure he 
    deserved THAT!  Good twist for the story, though.  I wish I'd seen it.
    
    	Another great Twilight Zone episode I saw (this one may belong in
    CANINE) involved a phantom Doberman.  This dog belonged to a woman who
    was very devoted to her sleazebag husband who cheated on
    her, hit her, etc.  Her husband had her convinced everything he did was
    because she was inadequate as a wife. The dog began to appear and threaten 
    her husband whenever she was upset.  It seemed to come somehow from a 
    figurine she had, which broke later during an argument.  The viewer must 
    assume she's doomed the next time her husband decides to beat her (he's
    really mad about getting attacked by an imaginary dog.)
    
    	But the dog reappeared just in the nick of time and came to the
    rescue.  The dog disappeared when it wasn't needed (and when the husband
    tried to shoot it).  The show ended with the woman leaving her husband
    (packing the pickup truck and pulling out of the drive); her husband
    tried to stop her and the dog appeared in the passenger seat of the
    truck.

    .0 reminds me of a joke I heard.  
    
    There's an old woman sitting in a rocking chair on her porch stroking
    her cat.  Suddenly a Genii appears and says she can have 3 wishes.
    So she wishes to be young and beautiful again and POOF she's young
    and beautiful.  
      Next she wishes to be rich and POOF her house is turned into a
    mansion and she's dressed in rich clothes with a rolls in the driveway.
      Finally she wishes for her feline companion to be human and
