I have a friend within Digital that has had a stray coming to her Condo in Milford for the last few weeks. She is unable to keep him as her roommate doesn't care for animals. Her worry is that she is going away in a week and she is the only person feeding this cat right now. Every night the kitty waits for Sue to come home and feed him. She usually lets him in for a feeding and some loving. She thought that he may have been house trained as he looks up at the counter tops but doesn't dare jump on them. He looks about 1 year old, has a nice gray coat, short hair, is very lovable and thrives on affection. She also thinks that he has blue eyes- will check when she gets home tonight. Please help out this hungry, lovable, adorable cat! Contact Sue at dtn 264-1172 or in Milford, NH at 672-7100 She does not wish to resort to a Humane Society as she doesn't want to think about what might happen to him.

Is there a local child, say around 11 or 12, whom you could pay to feed the cat while she's gone? $5 would probably be more than enough. When we went of vacation I had our "catsitters" feed not only 3 of my 4 indoors, but also Jesse, our grey stray that we've been feeding for months. Nancy DC | |||||

re: .2 - I agree - at least be sure that the parent is aware that the child is to be caring for your cats and will insure that the child remembers. N |
