This adorable little kitten appeared on my doorstep last week, obviously a lost little soul. He/She (?) is black with a few white hairs under the chin, approx. 6 weeks old, double paws, extremely affectionate. My two older cats are opposed to having a new housemate and I'm concerned they will hurt this little cutie. Would someone like to take he/she home????? I'm sure this kitten will make a perfect loveable pet. Contact me at DTN 223-3017 or RDVAX::Belmore

You might want to give them more time to adjust if you really want to keep the kitten. We brought Dundee home at about 8 weeks. He was SO tiny. I was afraid too. But my three older girls didn't hurt him. He seemed totally unphased by everything and it wasn't long before he could hold is own with any of them. You might want to keep him separated from the older ones when you're not there to supervise. Kittens grow very fast. He sounds wonderful. Probably ought to go to the vet for his shots too. If I hear of anyone wanting a black, double-pawed kitten I'll pass them along to you. Good luck and thank you for taking this little guy in. Nancy DC & the Furry Foursome | |||||

OH - I should add that during the "adjustment period" to Dundee we had an awful lot of leaky cats :-) They hissed and growled and huffed and made all sorts of bitchy noises, but aside from Isis bapping Dundee on top of the head for three days, none of the noise ever translated into attacks. It just sounds like they're going to eat him. \ |
