Does anyone know any more about this? A local not-too-good newspaper
has a photo of a bear cub, and the only information about it is in the
caption underneath: "Billy the Bear, a crippled orphan black bear cub,
gets ready to be strapped onto a magnetic resonance imaging device by
mri technicians this that and Wildlife Images volunteer whosis in
Portland. The bear cub, who has captured children's hearts across the
nation, was found last May west of Redding, after being mauled by a
dog."
How sick is the bear? Is there a place for it to stay once it reaches
adult size, assuming it can't return to the wild?

taking unwanted wild animals. If you need more info to persue this
let me know.
