This note is also being entered in CANINE A co-worker finds that she must give up her 10 year old beagle. Since she has not been able to find a new home for the dog she is at a loss as to what to do. Someone suggested that she take the dog to a no-kill shelter called Sandy's Pet Exchange located in Springfield, MA. I told her I would try to get more info on the place so please if anyone knows anything about it let me know. I'm sure she would be open to suggestions of other no-kill shelters in the Mass. area. Thanks for any input!! MaryAnne

MaryAnne - Does the dog get along with cats? Is he in good health? I would love a beagle but for a number of reasons, haven't gotten a dog yet (one being the cats, the second being my husband's allergies to most everything). I'm still working the dog issue out. If you could provide some more info, maybe I could convince him to adopt a 10 year old puppy. Mary | |||||
