My friend is still looking for a long-hair, male black kitten. I can't believe that anyone is having trouble finding a kitten at this time of year :-) She wants a real longhair, not shaggy, like a persian and preferably all black, but will accept a mostly black kitten. And she insists on a kitten as she will be introducing the new guy to her one year old female who is used to being an only cat. If you can point me at such a kitten I'd appreciate it. I've already followed up on all the recent free kitten notes with no luck. Thanks Nancy DC

Nancy Longhair is a recessive gene so it is a little more difficult to find longhair kittens in the stray population. But, with this time of year, you have a better chance. Jo | |||||

Thanks Jo. I thought that was the case. I'm starting to call some of the shelters now. In fact, when I called Kitty Angels Joan said that they'd caught a black longhair kitten in one of their have-a- hearts that morning. He is very very friendly tho so they're checking to be sure he's not just someone's outdoor cat before they put him up for adoption. Joan said she'd give me a call when they found out. N |
