    Please say a little prayer for Abbey, my sister's kitty, who died
    the night before last.  Abbey wore a collar with an id tag, and
    sadly, caught her collar on a nail and was unable to escape. 
    My poor sister, who loved her very much, found her, and is having
    a hard time forgetting the image, as you can imagine. 
    
    Abbey was 6 years old, and lived with my sister and me, and my two
    cats, for 3 years when we were all roommates in San Francisco, so
    I feel as though I have lost a very special little friend.  She
    was a beautiful long-haired tabby, with lots of golden fringe, and
    a pretty white chest.  She was one of those kitties who just loved
    to talk, and was almost never silent.  
    
    We'll miss her very much, and would appreciate your prayers....

	And you certainly have them...So sorry to learn of your loss... We almost lost Tequila when she jumped in one of our water filtration tanks...It was full of chlorinated water...Thank god we were home!!! More tears in Shrewsbury and Millville, Paula, Schnapps and Tequila (The Miracle Kitty)

	i haven't been in the feline file for some time now. i always go to note 10,000 to get to the last one and boy was i upset to read this. i'm so sorry to hear about your loss. verne and shirl don't wear collars, i can't imagine living without them. in fact, i'm having a hard time leaving for one week on vacation because i can't take them. my prayers are with your family. how did this ever happen? no, don't answer that, i can't imagine it.... upset and teary eyed, carlajeanne, vern and shirl

	We feel so sad, It's especially hard until the thoughts of the loving and vital kitty that she was supercede the awful image of her end. Take heart, that will happen, and you know that Abbey loved you and is having a ball in kitty heaven with all her new friends. Her body is gone but her spirit is not.
