| I saw it. I was doing OK until the very end when she started to
cry because she couldnt get the pregnant cat to come out. That just
finished me off.
I'll have to be a bit more observant next time I go to Waterloo

Some may call this woman a fanatic, but I think she is wonderful.
The care and attention these animals are getting due to her concern
and love for them is to me heart wrenching.
The next time I'm writing my animal charity cheques, I am going
to remember this lady.

| If you have an address for this woman I'd be happy to add her
to the list. I only send to places that folks suggest. The
final decision I leave to those who have lost cats during the
quarter. I'm sure they can figure out what to do with a
check drawn on an american bank.

2381.5 | She now has money | UKCSSE::YOUNG | Geoff Young | Tue Sep 25 1990 11:01 | 11 |
| There was a little snippet in the paper this week about Celia Hammond and
her work.
She has been left 186,000 pounds ($335,800) in the will of a man from
Cornwall. It appears he had never met her, only spoken to her on the
phone.
She intends to use the money to establish clinics across the
country to neuter/spay strays and look after them.

Yup, and I hope she kills the stranglehold that the vets have on the
RSPCA too.
Heather
Which reminds me, I still don't have any answer from the RSPCA re:
indoor vs outdoor moggies in the UK - and I gave a 20 donation with
my request.
