    All of you who thought that Binky hadn't gotten pregnant when two 
    male cats got into my hallway when she was in heat -  Well Binky
    gave birth last night to 5 healthy kittens.  When I went to bed at
    11:30 she only had 4 but when I got up this morning she had 5.
    
    I took her to the vet yesterday afternoon because she was having alot
    of discharge for about a week and a half and I was worried that she 
    was having problems - the vet examined her and said that her cervix 
    was not open at all yet.  Well just about 6 hours later she went into
    labor and seemed to have a pretty easy time.  I thought it was pretty
    amazing as I have never had a litter before.  
    
    Well I just wanted to let everyone know that she had 2 black(one
    totally black and the other with a white blaze on his face), it looks
    like one calico, and two dark tigers.  If we don't find homes for
    them the pet store said they would take them for us.

	first of all, congratualations to the new mother. I'm happy to hear the delivery was an easy one. secondly, can anybody tell me if kitten's coat colors change at all? i recall hearing mention that it is difficult to tell point colors with newborns. what about total coat color. for instance, would these 2 little black kittens coat change to grey at all? -Nancy reason being, i will be needing an all grey, or grey with a white blaze on teh face kitten in about 8 weeks. might actually need 2.

	Nancy, the reason that it is hard to tell point color in newborn kittens is that they have no point color! Pointed cats are born completely white, they look like little white mice. The point color starts to develop as they grow. These kittens will remain whatever color they started out as. Jo

	I've got what your looking for ....my cat had a litter on the 27th 5 to be exact, one of them is a female grey with a white tummy, long hair double front and back paws....now that's unusual, she's gorgeous.....call if you want more info...thanks, janice 264-3330
