Yesterday, Sunday, my wife and I went to the vacation and travel show up at the Denver Coliseum and one of the booths there was from Hills Animals foods. Don't ask me why they were showing at a vacation and travel show, but they were! Anyway, they were showing off a "new" product, a **Lite** Feline Maintenance dry food. They gave us a couple of sample packets. We fed it to Ada, Doobie and Peaches when we got back to Colo Spgs as their treat for our having been gone most of the day. :-) The Science Diet folks said it was intended for cats that had a weight problem (Doobie), but not for weight reduction, but rather to maintain a good weight once you got it to where it should be. BTW, our furfaces thought it was *real* good! Chuck

Hi Chuck, My guys love the SD Lite, so does my kitten! My 11-pound Honey wouldn't touch Science Diet regular with a 10-foot paw, but he likes the Lite formula. And since he doesn't need to gain an ounce, I'm glad he eats it. Now, if I could figure a way of keeping the kitten out of it... Mary |
