Has anyone read the new 15th Anniversary issue of Peoples magazine? I was at the dentist yesterday and they had it. There was an article in there about a movie being made. It's a remake of Romeo and Juliet only the roles are being played by cats. The director must be crazy to try to do this. The article talked about what they've gone thru to get the cats to act. Real actors will be doing the voices for cats and there is one human person in th story. John Hurt is playing the person that saves Juliets family and brings them to N.Y where she meets Romeo. Read the article if you get a chance. I think all you feline lovers will find it interesting. Kathy

The issue of CATS magazine that just showed up in my mailbox Monday night had an article on this topic. There are 108 cats, and 1 human. Apparently, the outdoor scenes are shot in areas which are "caged off" in huge nets. Also, they made a point of saying that all the cats, even Romeo, have been neutered. :-) Deb |
